We are searching for qualified Early Year Professionals to join a team of professionals working remotely and online, successful candidate will be partnering with parents on advise and support for early years development of children.
The suitable person needs to be self driven and must have good knowledge of the early years foundation stage and development of early years children and should be able to review information shared on development for the child and be creative to come up with suggestions on next steps and activities that parents could do to support their children’s learning and development at home. The person should be a good speaker and should be able to effectively communicate these next steps and activities to the parents.
This is a self-employed freelance position you will be paid around £11- £12 per hour based on the number of session hours completed and You will manage your own taxes. There is no guaranteed hours for the position and the work involved would be based on the engagement and consultations requested from time to time. All consultations and engagements will be done online through video calling. The candidate will be required to conduct 30 min to 60 min sessions as requested and booked by the parents.
You need to have your own tools e.g. laptop/desktop and internet access.
Basic training and. Support will be provided. You would be expected to understand the business model of the online support.
Ongoing continued professional development and training would be a plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Level 3 or above in Early Education and Childcare or a degree with relevant early years' experience,
- Enhanced DBS checks
- Experience of working with children in an early year setting or within early years support services,
- Experience of completing child observations and providing feedback to parents and practitioners,
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication & conferencing skills
