Ashton Hall Garden Centre is an independent garden centre based just outside of Lancaster. It is home to The Pear Tree Cafe where we provide high quality meals made with local produce and homemade cakes.
Front End Associate
Ashton Hall Garden Centre is looking for Front of House Staff to join our team in the Pear Tree Cafe. Here at the Pear Tree Cafe we serve a range of high quality meals made from local produce alongside beautifully made cakes and coffees. Our cafe staff are friendly, enthusiastic and hardworking, if you think that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

Duties Include:
- Greet guests warmly and properly.
- Barista work - making various types of coffee (such as a Flat White) quickly while maintaining a high standard.
- Serve customers by making their orders and delivering them promptly and accurately.
- Answer questions about our menu and services in a helpful, professional way.
- Perform opening or closing duties as assigned.
- Maintain the cafe's cleanliness.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.
Work may also include helping the kitchen where necessary. We would welcome any candidates with kitchen experience or suitability to be trained for a potential kitchen role too.
The ideal candidate will be hardworking as well as flexible and reliable. Previous experience is preferred but not essential as we are happy to provide guidance and training.
